If you are looking for a qualified driving instructor, friendly, patient, professional and organised driving lessons for yourself, your friend or for your child, here at Hybrid Driving School we can help you.

Edward Frizzle is a fully Qualified Driving Instructor, owns and run Hybrid Driving School and has been providing driver’s education since 1989. He helps students gain confidence quickly and effectively. His unique approach and sense of humour helps his learners to feel more relax and confident during their lessons.

If you are looking for a means of learning to drive the fun and easy way then let Hybrid Driving School show you how. We have a fully maintained and clean instructional vehicle.

You maybe wondering why we call our driving school Hybrid, simply put, we use a Hybrid vehicle for comfort and to help the environment by reducing the carbon monoxide.

Edward will teach you the correct and safe way in driving on all kinds of weather conditions.

He will teach you not just to pass your driving test but on how to become a safe and confident driver after getting you driver’s licence.

Edward will continue to monitor your progress by giving you some feedback after each lessons. Just before you go for your practical driving test, he will continuously do some mock assessment to make sure that you are ready and prepared for your practical driving test.

Our instructional vehicle is equipped with a dual control pedals for yours and everyone’s safety.

You will need to have your Learners Permit during your driving lesson and all the time that you’re intending to drive. You could get fine for not having it with you in case of member of the police force requires you to provide it to them. You will not be able to have your driving lesson if you don’t have it with you and you will have to pay for your driving lesson appointment.
You must give Hybrid Driving School at least a 48 hours notice, else a cancellation fee for the full lesson will be charged.
Absolutely. It will be cheaper as well if you book five lessons in advance as we give discount for every 5 lessons that you booked.

It’s all depends on the circumstances, yes we can pick you up from work or school and drop you off to your home providing it is within our coverage area. Please bear in mind that we do have to attend to our next student and we will need ample time to get to our next student.
We encourage parents to come along during the lesson to have an idea of what to teach you during your practice with them and what to keep an eye on so your driving with your parent will be more fun and relaxing.
Yes we do accept Efpost and Credit Card. Please be advised that there is a 2% surcharge when paying by card which is charged by the provider.
Yes you do. You will get a one off free driving lesson for each friend you referred after their first driving lesson.

A very good and valid question. It really depends on the individuals, some will learn within 10 lessons but some will need more than that. You cannot rely on what others will say that you only need 5 or 10 lessons. It also depends on how much time you really put in your driving lesson. Not just with the driving school, it should be with your parents, siblings or friends as well.
Driving lesson is a 60 minutes lesson. You can book a 2 hours lesson if you preffered longer lesson.
